Bible, Flat Icon 2 The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It gives a true history of the creation of heaven, earth, and humanity. It contains prophecies regarding heaven, earth, and humanity. It is true, authoritative, and it teaches us how to be saved and how to live a godly life.

Cross, Flat Icon Plan of Salvation

Our salvation comes by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Through the blood of Christ we receive deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness. The salvation experience consists of repentance of sin, water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and being baptized with the Holy Ghost, after which, the believer is to live a holy life. (See Acts 2:36-41)

Water baptism is a necessary part of New Testament salvation. It should be administered by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as consistently taught in the Bible. None of the apostles or other followers of Jesus used any other mode or formula. (See Acts 2:36-41; 8:16; 19:5)

Fire, Flat IconBaptism of the Holy Ghost

This spiritual baptism is for all believers today, and the Bible describes it as the spiritual birth. The prophet Joel proclaimed the universal availability of this experience (Acts 2:16-18), and so did the apostle Peter when he said, “The promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call” (Acts 2:39). The evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues (other languages) as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:34).

Praying Hands, Flat Icon Divine Healing

The apostles prayed for the sick as prophesied by Jesus in Mark 16:18, “They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” We are promised divine healing in James 5:14-15, “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.”
